Senegal national in ICE custody dies in hospital

WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued the following news release:

NEW ORLEANS -- A Senegal national in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody passed away at the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, Feb. 23. An autopsy is pending to determine the official cause of death.
