TOPEKA, Kansas, Feb. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Kansas issued the following news release:
A Kansas woman has been charged through criminal complaint for a shooting death that took place on a federal military installation in Junction City, Kansas.
According to court documents, Margaret E. Shafe, 30, of Fort Riley is charged with murder in the second degree for shooting and killing Greg Shafe on February 19, 2024, while on Fort Riley.
