WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund issued the following news release on Feb. 22, 2024:
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Trooper Michelle Archer of the Vermont State Police Department as their Officer of the Month for December 2023. Trooper Archer was selected for her bravery and heroism when she rescued an eight-year-old girl from a frozen pond in Vermont.
