N.J. U.S. Attorney: Middlesex County Man Sentenced to 33 Months in Prison for Role in COVID-19 Fraud Schemes Totaling Over $2.1 Million

NEWARK, New Jersey, Feb. 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey issued the following news release:

A Middlesex County, New Jersey, man was sentenced today to 33 months in prison for his role in fraudulently obtaining over $2.1 million in federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans and Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.
