MCALLEN, Texas, Feb. 20 -- LIBRE Initiative issued the following news release on Feb. 19, 2024:
On Thursday, February 22nd, from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM, The LIBRE Initiative, an organization founded in Mission and committed to empowering the Latino community, will be hosting a grand opening for their new McAllen Community Center. Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz will help kick off the evening's festivities which will include a ribbon cutting ceremony.
