EAST GREENWICH, RI - In an effort to enhance the East Greenwich Fire Department's (EGFD) communications capabilities and continue to keep the community safe, U.S. Senator Jack Reed today joined East Greenwich Town Manager Andrew E. Nota and Fire Chief Bernard L. Patenaude to celebrate two federal grants totaling $452,118 for the EGFD to upgrade outdated communications equipment . . .
