UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania, Feb. 15 -- Pennsylvania State University issued the following news:
The Lion Ambassadors, the student corps of the Penn State Alumni Association, will host an event in the HUB's Noontime Lounge from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, commemorating the 169th anniversary of the University's founding.
Penn State was established on Feb. 22, 1855, when the Farmers' High School of Pennsylvania was officially chartered by the Pennsylvania state . . .
