House Votes to Impeach Alejandro Mayorkas, John James Votes Yes

WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Rep. John James, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on Feb. 13, 2024:

Tonight, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to impeach Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. Representative John James (MI-10) voted in support of the impeachment.

Rep. James previously released the following statement on the matter of Mayorkas' impeachment:

"Evidence has proven that Secretary Mayorkas' sustained and willful betraya . . .
