WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 -- Sen. John Boozman, R-Arkansas, issued the following news release on Feb. 7, 2024:

U.S. Senators John Boozman (R-AR) welcomed an announcement from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) that it is awarding grants totaling $7 million to two communities in northeast Arkansas.

The EDA, an agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce, is investing in healthcare workforce development in Newport and infrastructure improvements in Trumann:
