WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 -- Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) released the following statement on voting no on House Republicans' bill to move forward with an Israel-only aid package that does not include humanitarian aid, funding for Ukraine, Taiwan or border security:
"Israel is our ally, and we must provide them with the support they need to defend themselves, but the House needs to stop playing politics . . .
