WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued the following news release:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information regarding the shooting of a bald eagle in Clayton, Delaware, in violation of federal laws.
The bald eagle is federally protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.
