PHOENIX, Feb. 1 -- The Arizona House Democrats issued the following news release:
Tempe business and community leader Jevin Hodge has been appointed by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to replace former Representative Athena Salman, who resigned to pursue other opportunities on January 1. Hodge will be sworn in on Friday afternoon.
