CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Jan. 23 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Jan. 22, 2024:
Les Van Bumpus, 35, of Charleston, was sentenced today to eight years and nine months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl. Bumpus admitted to his role in a drug trafficking organization (DTO) that operated in the Charleston area.
