WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- Rep. Suzanne Bonamici, D-Oregon, issued the following news release:
Representatives Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR), David Joyce (R-OH), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), and Jennifer Kiggans (R-VA) introduced legislation to help address the nursing shortage by increasing the number of faculty at nursing schools.
According to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, U.S. nursing schools turned away more than 91,000 qualified applications from baccalaurea . . .
