DENTON, Texas, Jan. 18 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
New flood maps have been finalized and will become effective on July 17, 2024, for Victoria County, Texas. During the next six months, a FEMA compliance specialist will work with the community to update each floodplain ordinance and adopt these new flood maps.
