U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) today issued the following statement on the Taiwan presidential election results:
"Over the weekend, the people of Taiwan sent a resounding message to the world -- that they aspire for a free and Democratic future. Taiwan demonstrated an unbreakable commitment to the democratic values that are a cornerstone of the U.S.-Taiwan relationship . . .
