UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania, Jan. 16 -- Pennsylvania State University issued the following news:
Continuing snowfall has caused Penn State to cancel classes, activities and work at its University Park campus from 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 16. Only employees who perform essential services should report.

Based on a course's mode of delivery, the following actions apply:
In-person: In-person classes scheduled from 6:45 a.m. through 5 p.m. . . .
