AKWESASNE, New York, Jan. 11 -- The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release on Jan. 10, 2024:
On Kentenhko:wa/November 29th the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Court announced a 30-day Public comment period for proposed amendments to the Marriage, Divorce, and Custody Code TCR 2022-58 titled "Tenkwahswanon:na". There were no comments received at the close of the comment period on Tsiothohrha/December 30, 2023.
