WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release on Jan. 7, 2024:
FEMA announced today that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Rhode Island to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, flooding and tornadoes, Sept. 10-13, 2023.
