NEW YORK, Jan. 5 -- The Police Benevolent Association of New York issued the following news release on Jan. 3:
At an NYPD press conference today, Chief of Crime Control Strategies Michael LiPetri noted that assaults on New York City police officers increased by 350 in 2023.
