LAREDO, Texas, Jan. 4 -- Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, issued the following news release on Jan. 3, 2024:

Today, U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar, Ph.D. (TX-28) announced $625,000 in federal funding for WestCare to combat substance abuse at Laredo Independent School District and United Independent School District. The federal grant is provided by the FY23 Drug-Free Communities Support Program through the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy.
