WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release on Dec. 22, 2023:
The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) today welcomed hate crime charges against a man suspected of tagging his building with threatening anti-Muslim graffiti.
A 76-year-old man has been charged with one count of criminal mischief in the third degree as a hate crime; one count of criminal mischief in the third degree; . . .
