PHOENIX, Dec. 21 -- The Arizona State Senate Republican Caucus issued the following news release on Dec. 20, 2023:
Senator Jake Hoffman unequivocally condemns Katie Hobbs' refusal to submit state agency director nominations for Senate confirmation, forcing these agencies to operate illegally. The Senate has worked diligently behind the scenes to try to persuade the Governor to reengage in the Senate confirmation process, as she is required to do under Arizona law.
