STAMFORD, Connecticut, Dec. 21 -- Rep. Jim Himes, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release:
Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04) and Mayor Caroline Simmons announced that Stamford would receive a $2.73 million Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to upgrade the city's hurricane protection barrier and pump stations.
