LINCOLN, Nebraska, Dec. 20 -- Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers issued the following news release on Dec. 19, 2023:
Today, Attorney General Hilgers and a bipartisan group of 52 state attorneys general announced a $700 million settlement with Google in their lawsuit about Google's anticompetitive conduct related to the Google Play Store.
As part of the settlement, Google will pay $630 million in restitution, minus costs and fees, to consumers who made purchases . . .
