ALBANY, New York, Dec. 20 -- Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-New York, issued the following news release on Dec. 19, 2023:
Governor Kathy Hochul today announced $25 million in capital grants is available to help volunteer fire departments across the state upgrade their facilities and equipment. As part of Governor Hochul's continued effort to strengthen New York's volunteer fire service, $25 million was secured in the FY 2023-24 State Budget for this initiative, along with $10 million to offse . . .
