ALBANY, New York, Dec. 19 -- Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-New York, issued the following news release on Dec. 18, 2023:

Governor Kathy Hochul, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) today shut down a cannabis store in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, Big Chief Smoke Shop, for operating without a license.
