EVANSVILLE, Indiana, Dec. 13 -- The University of Southern Indiana issued the following news release:
The University of Southern Indiana has been awarded a $1 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. through its initiative, Advancing the Science of Reading in Indiana (ASRI). Funding will support several initiatives within USI's Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education through its Teacher Education Program, ultimately, aiming to strengthen literacy in the state.
