WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:

Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee, today announced the appointment of Whitney Gravelle of Bay Mills Indian Community to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) new Tribal Advisory Committee. Gravelle is President of the Bay Mills Indian Community, and previously served as a Chief Judge for the Bay Mills Tribal Court.
