WASHINGTON, Dec. 6 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Congressman John Moolenaar voted to pass H.R. 4468, the Choice in Automobile Retail Sales (CARS) Act of 2023. The legislation would block the Environmental Protection Agency from enforcing Biden administration rules on tailpipe emission standards that will force gas-powered vehicles out of the auto market in order to increase the number of electric vehicles sold in the U.S.
