RICHMOND, Virginia, Dec. 7 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Jessica D. Aber, issued the following news release on Dec. 6, 2023:
War crimes charges against four Russia-affiliated military personnel were unsealed today. The charges include unlawful confinement, inhuman treatment, and torture of a U.S. national in Ukraine following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
