(STATEN ISLAND, BROOKLYN, NY) - Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) today released the following statement regarding planned cuts to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) by more than 4,500 officers by the end of FY25:
"Mayor Adams' plan to slash NYPD ranks by more than 4,500 officers and reduce the force to 1990s levels is a preventable disaster that will cause . . .
