WASHINGTON, Nov. 24 -- The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee issued the following written testimony by Lily R. Barkau, groundwater section manager of the Water Quality Division at the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, involving a hearing on Nov. 2, 2023, entitled "Opportunities and Challenges in Deploying CCUS and DAC Technologies on Federal and Non-Federal Lands." CCUS are carbon capture utilization and sequestration while DAC stands for direct air capture.
