NEW YORK, Nov. 23 -- The New York City Department of Environmental Protection issued the following news release on Nov. 22, 2023:
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) partnered this summer with elected officials, community boards and neighborhood organizations to host more than 100 free giveaway events in all five boroughs to distribute 7,622 rain barrels to New Yorkers.
