KEARNY, New Jersey, Nov. 21 -- The National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) issued the following news release on Nov. 20, 2023:
Amtrak, in coordination with NJ TRANSIT, has begun the procurement process for the Sawtooth Bridges Replacement Project. Replacement of the Sawtooth Bridges is a key component of the Gateway Program to preserve and expand the busiest section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC).
