Rep. Hageman on Frivolous Lawsuit to Keep Trump Off the Ballot: 'Unconstitutional Idiocy'

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyoming, issued the following news release on Nov. 15, 2023:

Rep. Harriet Hageman (WY) today blasted a frivolous lawsuit filed by a retired lawyer from Laramie seeking to block former President Donald J. Trump and Sen. Cynthia Lummis (WY) from appearing on election ballots in 2024. The suit included Lummis for an unknown reason, since she is not up for reelection until 2026 and will not be appearing on the ballot next year.
