N.J. U.S. Attorney: Sussex County Man Sentenced to Three Years in Prison for $2 Million COVID-19 Fraud

NEWARK, New Jersey, Nov. 17 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Philip R. Sellinger, issued the following news release on Nov. 16, 2023:

A Sussex County, New Jersey, man was sentenced to 36 months in prison for defrauding several financial institutions and illegally obtaining more than $2 million in COVID-19 funding meant to help small businesses impacted by the pandemic, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced today.
