The engineering community recently honored Calvin Mackie, Ph.D., engineer, advocate, and founder and president of STEM NOLA, now celebrating its 10th anniversary, for his leadership of the organization in reaching more than 125,000 children in more than 5,100 schools across the U.S. and five other countries with its science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) . . .
