WASHINGTON, Nov. 15 -- The White House Office of Management and Budget issued the following statement of administration policy on Nov. 14, 2023, on a joint resolution (S.J.Res. 43) providing for the congressional disapproval under Chapter 8 of Title 5 of the U.S. Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Education relating to "Improving Income Driven Repayment for the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program and the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program".
