CENTRAL ISLIP, New York, Nov. 15 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Breon Peace, issued the following news release on Nov. 14, 2023:
Earlier today, Samuel Miele pleaded guilty at the federal courthouse in Central Islip to wire fraud committed while he was working as a fundraiser for a candidate seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives (Candidate #1). Miele agreed to pay $109,171 in restitution, $69,136 in forfeiture, and a separate stipulated pay . . .
