WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 -- Rep. Seth Magaziner, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release:
Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) spoke on the House Floor to condemn House Republicans' proposed cuts to education funding in the FY24 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill. In Rhode Island, these cuts will eliminate access to Head Start for 200 children and remove up to 800 teachers from classrooms serving low-income students.
