WASHINGTON, Nov. 3 -- The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Intellectual Property issued the following written testimony by Kari Kammel, director of the Center for Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection at the Michigan State University, involving a hearing on Oct. 3, 2023, entitled "Back to School With the SHOP SAFE Act: Protecting Our Families From Unsafe Online Counterfeits." The SHOP SAFE Act is Stopping Harmful Offers on Platforms by Screening Against Fakes in E-commerce Act.
