ALBANY, New York, Nov. 3 -- Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-New York, issued the following news release on Nov. 2, 2023:
Governor Kathy Hochul today announced an unprecedented settlement agreement between the New York State Department of Labor and Uber Technologies Inc., which resolves both past and future unemployment insurance contributions on behalf of Uber and Uber Eats drivers and couriers.
