PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, Oct. 20 -- The American Mathematical Society issued the following news release:
The 2024 Award for Mathematics Programs that Make a Difference is awarded to the Mathematics Project at Minnesota, of the University of Minnesota.
According to the prize citation, "The Mathematics Project at Minnesota is an invaluable and highly effective graduate-student-led initiative developed with the goal of exposing and removing known barriers in retainin . . .
