WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- The White House issued the following news release on Oct. 6, 2023:
Today, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. declared that a major disaster exists in the State of Vermont and ordered Federal assistance to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms and flooding from August 3 to August 5, 2023.
Federal funding is available to state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost . . .
