Recent Rain Reduces Fire Restrictions on Bureau of Land Management Public Lands in Medford District

WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management issued the following news release:

MEDFORD, Ore. - Thanks to widespread rain, Bureau of Land Management Medford District officials are reducing public use restrictions on BLM-managed lands in southern Oregon. Starting September 27, 2023 at 12:01 a.m., BLM-managed lands in Jackson and Josephine Counties will move to a moderate fire danger level.
