ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Sept. 26 -- The Center for Biological Diversity issued the following news release on Sept. 25, 2023:
NOAA Fisheries announced today that it intends to expand critical habitat protections in Alaska for the North Pacific right whale. If finalized, the action will help protect the most endangered whale population in the world.
