NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, Aug. 26 -- The Institute for Justice issued the following news release on Aug. 25, 2023:

During the COVID-19 pandemic Waylon Bailey made a joke about the virus, zombies, and his local sheriff's department on Facebook.
