WASHINGTON, May 10 -- The White House issued the following news release on May 9, 2023:
President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. declared that a major disaster exists in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and ordered Federal aid to supplement Commonwealth and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides, and mudslides from February 15 to February 20, 2023.
Federal funding is available to Commonwealth and eligible local governm . . .
