CARLSBAD, California, March 9 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued the following news release on March 8, 2023:
After conducting a second in-depth review of two species commonly known as Joshua trees (Yucca brevifolia and Yucca jaegeriana), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service concluded neither species requires protection under the Endangered Species Act.
